Residents affected by Tropical Storm Arthur have until Saturday to apply for federal disaster assistance, according to officials. The deadline is October 3.
Disaster Service Centers in Harrison County will close today, Friday, October 2. Centers in Pearl River and Stone counties will remain open through Saturday, October 3.
Applicants do not need to visit a Disaster Service Center to apply. Assistance can be requested online at DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or through the FEMA app, officials said.
