Ingomar school placed into “soft lockdown” Wednesday
Ingomar was placed on a “soft lockdown” briefly on Wednesday morning.
Union County schools released the following at 8:53 a.m.
Attention: Ingomar Attendance Center is currently on a soft lockdown. Everyone is safe.
According to school officials, there was a physical altercation between vendors at the school that morning. It left one of the vendors involved straded at the school.
SRO Tommy Sloan confronted the man. After determining he was stranded at the school, Sloan took the man to the sheriffs office to remove him from campus. No charges were filed.
At 9:17 am, the UCSD released the following:
Attention: Lockdown at Ingomar Attendance Center has been lifted. Campus has resumed to normal schedule.
