The 2026 New Albany and Union County Christmas Parade will carry the theme “A Celebration of Christmas: Tradition, Stories, and Fairytale.” The organizers announced the theme on Monday, November 30, during a community event.
Participants are encouraged to showcase Christmas traditions, beloved stories, and fairy tale scenes that capture the holiday spirit. The parade aims to highlight classic characters, storybook settings, winter wonderlands, and festive lights, according to event organizers.
Parade applications and participation details will be available after the conclusion of the Tallahatchie Riverfest, organizers said. The event will take place in New Albany, Mississippi.
