Hurricane Isaias Remains a Category 3 Storm, Threatens Florida Panhandle

Hurricane Isaias remains a Category 3 storm with maximum sustained winds of 115 mph, according to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency.

The storm is expected to make landfall in the Florida Panhandle. A hurricane warning is in effect for Jackson County, Mississippi.

Tropical storm warnings are also in effect for eastern counties along the Mississippi coast, extending inland to Lee and Itawamba counties. Authorities advise residents to remain vigilant and stay safe as the storm approaches.
