BNA Bank CEO to Throw First Pitch at Memorial Softball Game
Mike Staten, chief executive officer of BNA Bank, will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the third annual Chief Anthony Anderson Memorial Softball Game, organizers announced.
According to Project Domino Effect, Staten’s participation symbolizes more than the start of a softball game. It represents community leadership and support for a cause honoring fallen first responders, whose service and sacrifice are remembered through the event.
BNA Bank has been a significant supporter of the organization. Organizers expressed gratitude for Staten’s commitment and the bank’s generosity, which helps advance the group’s mission of turning compassion into action and supporting families in the community.
Organizers noted that Staten’s act of throwing the first pitch is a gesture of legacy and remembrance, emphasizing the importance of community solidarity. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at BNA Park in New Albany, Mississippi.
Organizers quoted 1 John 4:19, saying, “We love him, because he first loved us,” underscoring the community’s appreciation for Staten’s support.
