Trey Slaton to Announce Chief Anthony Anderson Memorial Softball Game

Trey Slaton, a Booneville police officer and longtime baseball enthusiast, will serve as the announcer for the third annual Chief Anthony Anderson Memorial Softball Game on Oct. 10 at BNA Park in New Albany, Mississippi.

Slaton, who has worked with the Booneville Police Department for more than 12 years and is currently a dispatch TAC officer, is known for his dedication and reliability behind the scenes. His role in supporting law enforcement efforts has earned him recognition, even if it often goes unnoticed.

He will bring his voice and passion for baseball to the event, which is organized by Project Domino Effect to honor fallen officers and first responders. Slaton is a lifelong Braves fan, with Ken Griffey Jr. as his favorite player.

“We are thrilled to welcome Trey as our announcer for this meaningful day,” said organizers. “His love for the game and commitment to service make him the perfect fit to help tell this story.”
