UNITE Launches Financial Assistance Program for Union County Residents

UNITE — Union County / New Albany Initiative to Excel — has begun offering financial assistance to residents impacted by crises. The program, formerly promoted through the Union County Baptist Association, is now directly managed by UNITE to strengthen community trust.

The initiative is funded by the CREATE Foundation, Toyota Mississippi, and private donors. It provides up to $150 per residential address to help cover expenses not covered by insurance. Applicants must show proof of residency and expenses, and the assistance is subject to available funds.

Residents can apply online through a provided Google Form link. Those unable to upload documents can email them to helpinunioncounty@gmail.com. Assistance is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on funding availability.

UNITE emphasizes that this effort is a collaborative initiative involving local churches, philanthropic partners, and community supporters dedicated to meeting urgent needs in Union County.
