FEMA Still Reviewing Individual Assistance Requests

FEMA has not yet approved individual assistance for residents affected by recent events, according to officials. The agency is still reviewing the application.

However, public assistance is currently available for 38 counties across the state. Residents and local officials are encouraged to visit the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency’s website at https://www.msema.org/ for more information.

Officials emphasize that residents should stay informed as the review process continues.
