Residents of New Albany are invited to observe Constitution Day on Thursday at the Magnolia Civic Center & Theatre. The event begins at 12 p.m. in the Magnolia Room and celebrates the signing of the U.S. Constitution.
The program includes a Presentation of Colors by the NAHS AF Junior ROTC, performances by the NAHS Choir, and remarks from Mayor Jeff Olson. Participants will also recognize a Gold Star Mom and observe Bells Across America, with the American Legion Post 72 ringing the bell.
The event is hosted by the Union County Republican Women’s Club, with support from the Potter-Henry-Lowrey Post 72, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Union County Democratic Alliance. Organizers say they hope the community will join in honoring this important day.
