Due to heavy rain predicted for this evening, the high school has relocated its Band Night performances to the school’s practice gym, according to school officials.
The event will now take place inside the gym, which is located across from the band hall. To accommodate limited space, the performance will be held twice, allowing two groups of family and friends to attend separately.
The first show is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:20 p.m. The second will begin at 6:40 p.m., immediately after the first performance. Attendees are asked to select one performance and to enter and exit quickly to maximize space for all supporters, officials said.
School officials expressed disappointment over the venue change but emphasized that safety and instrument protection are top priorities. The decision was made to prevent water damage and ensure student safety amid forecasted weather conditions.
The schedule includes a 4:30 p.m. dinner for students with tickets, a 5:15 p.m. rehearsal, and the performances inside the gym. Students will be dismissed at 6:45 p.m., though they can still attend the evening’s game for free if wearing their band shirts.
