New Albany High School students visit elementary school to discuss careers

Students from New Albany High School’s College & Career Readiness class visited second graders at NAES to discuss careers in the community. The students read “When I Grow Up” by Al Yankovic and played a lively game of Career Bingo, according to school officials.

Teacher Stephanie Gregg said the activity aimed to inspire young students and encourage their dreams. The event featured smiles, high energy, and discussions about future ambitions, fostering early career awareness among the students.

School administrators highlighted the importance of connecting high school students with younger peers to promote leadership and community engagement. The event was part of the school’s effort to prepare students for life beyond graduation.
