Governor Tate Reeves announced in a press conference on Monday that the State of Mississippi will continue its mask mandate for an additional two weeks.
The new expiration of the mask mandate is now set to arrive on September 14.
Reeves praised the state on Monday for its participation, which he says is leading to a reduction in cases and stress on hospitals.
