New Albany hosts Entrepreneurship Experience Tour for students

Students from Alison Moore’s Business, Marketing, and Finance classes participated in the recent Entrepreneurship Experience Tour in downtown New Albany, according to organizers.

Students visited eight local businesses, learning about topics such as startup funding, franchising, and product creation. They heard firsthand from business owners across retail, manufacturing, and food service sectors.

The tour concluded at Nico’s, where students received a presentation from the community development director about the importance of shopping local and building a strong local workforce. Organizers say the event highlighted downtown New Albany’s historic charm and economic opportunities.
