New Albany High School senior Jonathan Shaw has been selected for the Toyota Creating Your Future program, a competitive initiative aimed at building a skilled workforce in Mississippi.
Out of 72 applications, Shaw was among 32 students interviewed and ultimately one of eight students chosen for the Fall 2026 cohort, according to Toyota Mississippi.
Creating Your Future is an education-to-work program designed to prepare students for careers in manufacturing and other technical fields, with a focus on developing Mississippi’s future workforce.
NAHS officials expressed pride in Shaw’s achievement and look forward to seeing how the experience influences his future.
