The North American Fire Department is assisting Baptist Memorial Hospital in boosting its water pressure, according to a department spokesperson.
There is no active fire emergency related to the situation, the department said. They also requested another county agency to standby at Station 1 to help manage an increased volume of calls caused by the weather.
Ingomar Fire Department is sending a truck with personnel to Station 1 to provide additional support during the operation, officials confirmed.
