Museum hosts Lego storytelling event for students in New Albany

Students in grades 2 through 8 can participate in a free Lego storytelling event at the museum on October 15th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., according to organizers.

The event will focus on exploring famous Mississippi authors before encouraging students to create their own stories using Legos. The program aims to combine literacy with hands-on creativity, organizers said.

Participants are encouraged to register through a provided link: https://forms.gle/khxERxzGJ6icSsocA. The event is open to the community and is part of the museum’s effort to celebrate storytelling and local culture.

Local media outlets and community organizations, including WTVA 9 News, NEmiss.news, and the New Albany Gazette, promoted the event. Schools such as New Albany Elementary, Middle School, and Myrtle Attendance Center also support the program.
