October is National Principals Month, a time to acknowledge the efforts of school leaders who manage numerous responsibilities daily. Despite plans, principals often face unexpected challenges as they oversee their schools and support students and staff.
Bo Sandlin of East Union, Grant Goolsby of Ingomar, Justin Hollis of Myrtle, and Troy Trout of West Union were recognized for their dedication. The acknowledgment highlights their patience, leadership, and the unseen work they put into their schools.
School officials expressed appreciation for the principals’ commitment. “We thank them for their time, patience, and heart,” said a district spokesperson. “Their work helps build a stronger, more supportive school community.”
The recognition underscores the vital role principals play in shaping a positive school environment and supporting student success.
