A 33-minute documentary titled ‘Moving Spirits Encountering the Ancestors’ will be screened on Thursday, September 17, at noon. The event will feature comments from writer and director Rhondalyn Peairs.
A light lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., courtesy of the Museum Guild. The screening is part of the annual Faulkner Literary Fest.
Filmed at Rowan Oak, the documentary explores the history of enslaved workers who labored on the land that became the historic house. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and share the event.
