Eight Days of Hope to Deploy Food Aid in Northeast Mississippi Amid Winter Storm
Eight Days of Hope’s mass feeding arm announced plans to deploy in response to winter storm Fern. The organization aims to provide meals to residents in northeast Mississippi affected by the storm.
The first meals will be served tomorrow, January 27, at three locations across Tupelo, New Albany, and Blue Mountain. The initiative encourages sharing the message to maximize outreach.
In Tupelo, the meal service will be held at First Baptist Tupelo, located at 300 N. Church St., from noon to 4 p.m. In New Albany, it will take place at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 216 MS-15, from noon to 2 p.m. In Blue Mountain, meals will be served at 103 S. Guyton Blvd. from noon to 2 p.m., according to the organization.
Eight Days of Hope is involved in disaster relief and community aid efforts and is calling on the public to help spread the word about the food distribution.
