Discovery Zone Hosts Bug Day for Students in New Albany

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are encouraged to join Discovery Zone for Bug Day on Tuesday, October 6, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m., according to organizers.

The free event includes making jewel beetle art projects, learning about the butterfly lifecycle, and playing bug-themed games. Participants are asked to sign up online via a provided link.

Children in kindergarten and first grade must be accompanied by an adult at all times, organizers said. The program aims to combine fun with educational activities about insects and their habitats.

Discovery Zone is supported by local media and community organizations, including WTVA 9 News, the New Albany Gazette, and the New Albany Main Street Association.
