CCR Students Use VR Simulations for Career Exploration
Students in Coach Katie Jenkins’s Career and College Readiness (CCR) class recently used virtual reality simulations to explore various careers. The Trek VR technology recreates the sights and sounds of real job sites, allowing students to virtually experience more than 50 different professions.
The program aims to provide hands-on career exploration and help students gain a better understanding of potential career paths. The initiative was made possible through a donation of VR headsets from the CREATE Foundation.
School officials expressed gratitude to the foundation for supporting this innovative educational opportunity, which offers students an immersive way to learn about their futures.
