Astronomy Night Hosted at Ingomar Mounds in New Albany

The Memphis Astronomical Society will host a free astronomy event at Ingomar Mounds in New Albany, Mississippi, on March 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., according to organizers.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and binoculars, though telescopes are optional. Participants will have the chance to view the Moon, Jupiter, and other deep-sky objects through telescopes provided by the society.

The event will take place at Ingomar Mounds, located at 1113 County Road 96. Everyone entering the property must sign a liability waiver, and attendees are advised to bring their own lawn chairs.
