Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to attend Discovery Zone on February 3, 2026, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. at New Albany Elementary School, according to event organizers.
The event is free and open to students, who will have the opportunity to create Valentine’s Day cards with Mrs. Tracy Vainisi. The cards will be given to elderly community members.
Parents and guardians can sign up their children through an online form available at https://forms.gle/V5S5c7f3yEt4mVSo6, the organizers said. The event aims to foster community service and creative expression among students.
The event is promoted by local media including WNAU, the New Albany Gazette, and WTVA, as well as the New Albany Main Street Association and the Mississippi Arts Commission.
