New Albany has installed new banners on its bridge to celebrate the arrival of spring and summer, as well as to honor the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, according to city officials.
The banners feature vibrant images that showcase the beauty of the season and the nation’s history. They are part of the city’s efforts to encourage residents and visitors to explore downtown, shop local, and enjoy everything Main Street has to offer.
City officials invite pedestrians to take photos of the banners when crossing the bridge and share their images on social media using hashtags such as #NewAlbanyMS, #ShopLocal, and #America250.
The banners serve as a colorful reminder of the community’s appreciation for its history and its vibrant local culture as the weather warms up.
