North Adams School District will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, according to district officials.
There will be no classes for students or staff on the holiday. The district typically recognizes the federal holiday with a day off for all schools and district offices.
The district encourages students and staff to reflect on the legacy of Dr. King and his contributions to civil rights during the break.
