Mississippi Nurse Practitioner Achieves National Wound Care Certification

Not all wound care is equal. There is a difference between providing basic wound treatment and being nationally certified at the highest level.

Ryain is one of only seven nurse practitioners in Mississippi to hold the Certified Wound Care Nurse-Advanced Practice (CWCN-AP) credential through the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society Board of Certification (WOCNCB). This certification is considered the gold standard nationwide for advanced practice nurses in wound care.

What does this mean for patients? It signifies advanced specialty training, proven clinic competency, and a commitment to evidence-based healing practices.
