Mississippi Magazine seeks nominations for Best of Mississippi Travel 2026

Mississippi Magazine is seeking nominations for its Best of Mississippi Travel 2026 competition, with entries open from March 15 to April 15, according to a news release.

New Albany is among the destinations vying for recognition, with highlights including its historic downtown, local restaurants, the Tanglefoot Trail, and community events, the release said.

Public voting is scheduled to begin on May 15. Organizers encourage residents and visitors to submit their favorite places and attractions to help boost New Albany’s profile as a top travel destination in Mississippi.

Those interested can submit nominations at the Mississippi Magazine website. The city and local organizations, including the Union County Library System, the Union County Heritage Museum, New Albany City Hall, and Magnolia Theatre, support the effort.
