Community members in New Albany are encouraged to join the Great American Cleanup Day on March 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. Participants will gather at the Union County Heritage Museum to pick up supplies and help beautify the area, according to organizers.
Groups can still register by emailing visitnewalbany@gmail.com. Additional information about local beautification efforts is available at visitnewalbany.com/keepnabeautiful and newalbanymainstreet.com, officials said.
The event is part of a larger initiative supported by Keep America Beautiful, Keep Mississippi Beautiful, Mississippi Main Street Association, and Main Street America.
