Free meal event for children at New Albany High School

Children from birth to age 18 can receive free meals at New Albany High School on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to school officials.

Meals will include options such as vegetable beef soup with an Uncrustable, chips, fruit cup, milk, and juice, as well as turkey sandwiches with chips, fruit, milk, and juice, the school said.

Parents and guardians are instructed to pick up meals via the bus drop-off and pick-up line in the cafeteria, located between the high school and the CTE building, the school added.

The event aims to provide nutritious food options for local children and families in need, school officials said.
