The city announced its garbage collection schedule after a missed pickup on Monday. The pickup that was canceled will be made up next Monday, according to city officials.
Tuesday’s scheduled pickup will occur on Wednesday. The rest of the week’s pickups will continue on their regular schedule, city officials said.
City officials also thanked the Street Department for their efforts. While they were unable to collect garbage, staff helped clear streets to support the National Guard, emergency responses, and volunteer efforts, officials added.
